Sword Swallower (Damien Blade), upcoming event in DC featuring him called "The Most Dangerous Man In the World"

Today’s blog as the long title indicates relates to an event that is listed under the Weekly List of Events on Friday July 20. The stage name of the performer is “Damien Blade” but his actual name is “Danny Snyder”.’

The following information is a direct quote from his website which discusses his biography, training and why his accomplishments have justified the name for this upcoming DC event.

Biography
“Danny Snyder, the man known as Damien Blade, was born and raised in Lancaster County. He graduated from Warwick High School and then served in the U.S. Army in the Infantry.”

Training
“In 2002, he attended the first ever sideshow school at Sideshows by the Seashore in Coney Island where he was trained by Todd Robbins in classic sideshow stunts and earned a degree in BS (Bachelor of Sideshow).

He has performed at Sideshows by the Seashore during sideshow school. In 2002, as a charter member of the Sword Swallowers Association International, he (along with 18 other sword swallowers) swallowed 50 swords simultaneously to set the Guinness Wold Record for mass sword swallowing.” (http://www.damienblade.com/folio.php)
